Here I shall post pictures and progress notes on my roma tomato plants, which I plan to keep rather tiny, and from which I will hopefully harvest delicious roma tomatoes.

Day 4: 5/9/11
Today I went to check on my tomatoes and see where the seeds were, since I don't have a spray bottle yet and I wasn't sure how badly my watering had displaced them. The seeds that had wandered put back toward the center of the pots. Also, there were all these little bugs that looked like some kind of tiny stinging insects all over the railing of the porch and few crawling around my pots. They didn't look like they were really interesting in the plants, perhaps just the water in the soil. I think it's too early in the season for swarming ants, and their legs didn't look like ant legs. I don't think they'll bother my tomatoes, and I really don't want to have to mess with pesticides. I might put a few ant traps out there if they give me reason to think they're ants. Nothing coming up yet, but it hasn't been long enough for that anyway. I'll post at least 1 picture on Friday, regardless of whether or not anything has come up.
